Samba Vulnerability - A Critical Security Flaw in the SMDB file server Daemon allows remote code execution
Samba is a widely used
client-server tool that is built into many UNIX distributions. It
allows file sharing and printer services between UNIX and Windows
machines.
A newly discovered vulnerability in the server daemon allows a remote samba client to execute arbitrary code on the machine running the daemon. The vulnerability received CVE code 2015-0240 The security bug is yet to be fully disclosed, however partial information which can aid attackers trying to exploit the bug have already been published.
